Stephen joined the Aberdeen office as a Paraplanner in September 2016.

He was part of the paraplanning team nominated at the 2017 Professional Paraplanner Awards in London in 2017, where Acumen Financial Planning was highly commended.

Stephen currently holds the Financial Services Products and Solutions (LP2) and Financial Services, Regulation and Ethics (R01) exam qualifications, and is currently studying for the Financial Protection (R05) exam.

A ‘proud Ayrshire boy’, Stephen is a lifelong Kilmarnock and Scotland fan. Having studied music at college and university, Stephen also enjoys playing the guitar and attending as many gigs and festivals as possible.

Stephen provides support to Angus Mackenzie.

“I wrote for a music blog and student newspaper interviewing bands and writing about music.”
