Based in Edinburgh, Nida joined our team in October 2023. Nida has a career in financial and customer services which spans around 25 years, working with companies such as Standard Life, Barclays and Scottish Water, before working in a small, family-run financial advice firm until August 2023.

What is your favourite thing about working at Acumen Financial Planning?

“The people! Everyone has made an effort to introduce themselves and welcome me to Acumen. I am finding the environment very supportive and encouraging. There is a strong team bond and everyone is happy and available to help.”

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?

“I like going to the gym along with long walks with my family. I am an avid cinema and theatre goer followed by a nice meal!”

What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given? 

“No matter what happens in life be good to people. Being good to people is a wonderful legacy to leave behind.”
