Having worked in financial services for over 20 years, Michelle heads up Enrich Tax Consultancy, part of the Financial Planning Group.

Michelle is a Fellow of The Association of Tax Technicians (ATT) and holds the Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) qualification – the highest level tax qualification in the UK.

In her spare time, Michelle loves nothing more than spending time with her family, fitting in travel where they can.

What do you like most about your job?

“All of it! I am an absolute tax geek. Tax legislation constantly changes, and it keeps me on my toes, which I love.”

What has been your proudest career achievement to date?

“Passing my CTA and starting Enrich. Becoming chartered in a job I love running my own business makes me excited for the day. Every day brings new challenges!”

Tell us one thing that people would be surprised to find out about you.

“I love crazy challenges! I signed up for the London Marathon when I could only run 5k to raise money for Children with Cancer – and I managed it! I have also completed the ‘Tough Mudder’ three times, and I’ve signed up again for next Summer. If I doubt I can do it, the more I want to do it.”

What’s your favourite piece of advice?

“Either, “don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened”, or “everything you ever want is on the other side of fear”.
