Finance Graduate Calum has been a part of the Acumen Financial Planning Team since May 2021.

Joining our Aberdeen office as a Financial Planning Administrator, Calum draws on his previous experience within investment banking with Morgan Stanley and Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

Outside of work, Calum keeps active by playing football, tennis, and golf.

What do you like most about working at Acumen Financial Planning?

“The culture of the company and getting the chance to help and educate people in financial planning. I also really enjoy the variety of my responsibilities and the people I get to work with.”

What has been your proudest career achievement to date?

“Still, to this day, it’s acquiring my MA in Finance, but I’m sure that will change during my time at Acumen.”

Tell us one thing that people would be surprised to find out about you.

“I’m passionate about food, and I work on a food blog promoting local and sustainable produce.”

What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?

“Everything in moderation, especially moderation.”
