Having worked in the financial industry for almost 20 years, Amanda joined our Glasgow team as a Paraplanner in October 2019.

Working with her previous employer for 12 years, she decided to move to paraplanning, and we are thrilled that she chose Acumen Financial Planning for this career progression. Amanda currently holds accreditations with the FCA in Financial Services, Regulation and Ethics, Pensions and Retirement Planning and Financial Protection.

When Amanda isn’t working, she rides motorbikes and cycles. She also enjoys travelling around Europe (by bike, of course) with her family.

What do you like most about working at Acumen Financial Planning?

“I knew it was the right place to move to, and I haven’t been disappointed. The support I have received has been amazing. I’m enjoying learning new aspects of the job every day and working with lovely people.”

What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?

“You should always be happy in life. Whether it is in work or your private life, if you are not happy, change what you are doing to be happy.”
