Alana works in our Aberdeen office and joined Acumen Financial Planning in 2017, initially as a Paraplanner before qualifying as a Chartered Financial Planner. Alana’s career started at the Nationwide Building Society in 2006, and since then, she has had various roles within the banking and finance sector both in the UK and Australia.   

She holds an Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning from the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII).

In her spare time, Alana loves to bake and can often be found in Ballater, spending time with her family.

What do you like most about working at Acumen Financial Planning?

“I love meeting clients; each client is unique with their own stories to tell. It makes me happy when I assist clients throughout their financial journey and see them living the life they hoped for once they stop working, without the fear of running out of money.”

“Achieving my Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning and gaining my Chartered status with the CII.”

“Never make a permanent decision based on a temporary emotion.”
