Job Purpose

Serves visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately; notifies company personnel of visitor arrival.

Main Duties

  • Occasional reception cover and answering overflow calls
  • Welcomes visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries to the appropriate parties.
  • Directs visitors to appropriate people and or meeting rooms.
  • Maintains security by following procedures; monitoring logbook; issuing visitor badges where appropriate.
  • Maintains telecommunication system by following manufacturer’s instructions for house phone and console operation.
  • Maintains safe and clean reception area. Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Provides refreshments as needed for visitors and assisting with catering requirements.
  • Assisting with client and staff events
  • Co-ordinate Staff Meetings
  • Various facilities duties to ensure the smooth running of the office.
  • Ensuring all office supplies and needs are kept up to date and well stocked.
  • Various additional administration tasks
